    In 1892, he testified that for years his occupation was raising sheep but then was loaning money in 1891. He had a room at the Buena Vista House.
    In 1870, he was herding sheep for Eugene Garnier on Rancho Encino.
    He was in the sheep business with Louis Petrissant in the 1870's.
    In 1873 he had a sheep ranch in San Juan Township (co owner with Louis Petrissant). He also sold sheep to Dominique Mariluis for 3 years to raise them.
    He commited extreme cruelty on his wife between July 1878 to Sept 1879.

    August Daguerre was 78 years old when he died.
